Descriptive Editing Services

Since the mid-70s ATLIS has provided descriptive editing and data entry services for the National Library of Medicine MEDLARS project under multiple Federal Government procurements. As the volume of biomedical citation and abstract data has grown, ATLIS has been a key player in ensuring the preeminence of NLM's MEDLINE database.

"As a subcontractor to Anteon Corporation, ATLIS has received nothing but the highest praise from key personnel at the National Library of Medicine for your day-to-day support, attention to detail, quick response to changed situations, and your overall performance. We are extremely appreciative of ATLIS' many accomplishments and for your dedicated delivery of programmatic excellence throughout this three year period...

The quality of your work has been noteworthy and our customer is delighted with ATLIS’ performance."

Library Archival and Preservation Services

Since May of 1991, ATLIS has been a prime contractor to the National Library of Medicine on a contract that provides support services necessary for the preservation of rare and aging printed resources.
