ATLIS has an extensive knowledge of and familiarity with the STM world. The areas of discipline in which we have the most depth are chemical and medical/biomedical reference. We also have experience with technical, engineering, mathematics and biology subject matter in a broad range of reference, journal and textbook publishing categories.
The composition of academic textbooks at ATLIS can be traced to our earliest days. Over the years we have specialized in science and math disciplines for the college and professional reader. As with journals and other STM products, strict quality control is built in to each phase of production to ensure adherence to spec and accuracy of content.
Journals
ATLIS has been managing and composing journals since the late seventies. Although our production procedures for this highly specialized segment of publishing have evolved over time to take advantage of new electronic tools and to meet the needs of our clients, solid management and composition skills still serve to produce consistent quality and delivery according to strict deadline requirements. We offer mailing services for proofs, and have incorporated the electronic delivery of articles to augment traditional mailing.
Our experience however extends beyond composition and project management and includes electronic product development, international web-based workflow solutions, DTD development and TeX Macro integration.
